Mbone stands for multicasting from many to many or one to many for audio and video and often a whiteboard. This contrasts with the CUSeeMe program which is only a point to point video communication system unless a reflector site is used. The stunning nature of these achievements is the immediate potential of turning each computer on a computer network into a live radio and/or television studio.
