Introducing Powerpoint & Excel

These tutorials are short videoclips (1 minute or so) that are also called screen movies. These introductory movies are taken from Macintosh computers but the features of the Office applications are very similar on both platforms. They are on specific features of spreadsheet and electronic slideshow (Powerpoint) activities for older versions, circa 1995-2001. These videoclips will both show a movie of the computer screen actions as they happen and tell more about the steps being taken. They can also be stopped at any point or backed up to any point to watch and hear a certain step at any point. Newer versions of Microsoft Office applications have come out since these screen movies were produced so they may not match up exactly with the version of the software program you are now using. However, they will give the basic idea of what needs to happen. If you have specific computer technology questions, call the Computer Center Help line at 227-7284.
