Examples of VR Effects

This is a short list of examples of VR objects, VR animation, embedded sounds and navigational headings. Indexes to further examples are near the bottom of this page. VR Objects can also include animation which enables the user to open, close, dismantle, and peek inside objects. VR Objects and scenes can also add directional stereo sound so that a sound might appear louder or different depending on how far the view is rotated (Sqaumish Media Group, British Columbia, Canada). Scenes can also add directional markings that show on an overhead map which show the direction that the scene is looking (Sqaumish Media Group). Scenes can be made to spin slow or fast, either automatically upon opening or depending on the click and release speed of the screen pointer (Sqaumish Media Group).

For a very large index that might be used for a wide instructional activities, see Multimedia Library's QuicktimeVR Gallery. For thousands of other examples, use web search engines to hunt for "VR objects". This link will automatically complete such a search using the Google search engine: VR objects. Use CROP's web pyramid for other web search systems.
