Using Video to Teach with Engagement and HOTS

There are several levels to consider in watching this brilliant video from CNET, CNET Prizefight: Samsung Galaxy Tab vs. Apple iPad 3G.

First, its content highlights features of the early leaders in the tablet computer market. Listen carefully. You may teaching using something very similar in the years ahead.

Second, it is emphasizing two key elements of Bloom's Taxonomy of higher order thinking skills (HOTS), analysis and evaluation. Can you explain?

Third, it can be used as an engaging model or template for making a video. This might be a teacher created video or one that students create under the teacher's leadership. That is, it is engaging and thought provoking to make a movie that compares two items or topics or takes it further to a judgment as in the case of this video. What two topics come to mind that would fit this competitive format and could be used to address curriculum goals?
