Directions for Use of the Online Videoclips
Use your headphone to listen and practice the designated Case Study demonstrations.
Each computer lab facility will have its own arrangements for connecting
you your headphone. Ask the lab assistants for help. If a lab assistant
does not know, let me know which lab you are using and I will discuss training
needs with the Computer Center personnel. If theses training videoclips
are viewed in order, they will make more sense, but it is also valuable
to pick and choose among the titles for something relevant to your immediate
needs.
Set up your workstation for the best viewing by completing these steps.

Use the headphone outlet on the left side of the monitor.

If your workstation does not deliver audio to your headphone set, report
the problem to the lab assistant and move to a different computer.

The higher the screen resolution, the easier it will be to view the videoclips.
Once the movie's first image begins to appear, scroll to the bottom of
the movie frame to find the Control Bar. The Control Bar allows you to
start, stop and repeat the movie. You may have to scroll the screen up
and down a couple of times to see everything that is happening in the demonstration
movies. The left side of the control bar has slider button that provides
control over the audio level.
Once you have seen the digital video tutorial, practice the skills
of the tutorial. To learn the most effectively, continue this process of
view and practice throughout the course.
